Philip Sutton - Osteopath

Phil graduated from Oxford Brookes in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) Osteopathy. He worked as an associate at Sue Brazier’s Osteopathy clinic near Worcester for six years practicing sports and remedial massage therapy prior to setting up Rivers Osteopathic and Sports Injuries Clinic. Previously Phil had worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for 15 years in various positions including gym manager, personal trainer and cardiac rehab instructor. Phil is a huge rugby fan having played for both Worcester RFC and Evesham RFC he has also been responsible for the pitch side first aid and rehab for Evesham RFC for three seasons, as well as Evesham United and Littleton football clubs. Since graduating Phil has used some of his CPD (Continuous Professional Develpoment) hours to undertake additional courses in Western Medical Acupuncture, Electrotheraphy and Kinesio Taping and therefore often uses a combination of treatments and techniques alongside osteopathic treatment. In his spare time he enjoys Mountain Biking, Boxing Training, Pilates and Hiking where he has completed the Great Glen Way, Hadrian's Wall and the Worcestershire Way. In September 2016 he will be walking Wainright's famous Coast to Coast path.

Sarah Statham - Osteopath

Sarah Statham - Osteopath

Sarah graduated from Swansea University with a Masters degree (M.Ost) in Osteopathy. She has had experience treating patients in multiple clinics, including both NHS and private practice. As part of her treatment approach she uses a variety of methods including soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisation and manipulation, indirect techniques and rehabilitative exercise. During her time at university, Sarah developed an interest in obstetric osteopathy and completed her dissertation investigating the benefits of osteopathic treatment during pregnancy and childbirth. Sarah has also completed a course in sports taping and plans to undertake a part-time Masters course in Animal Osteopathy, beginning in 2017. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, swimming, playing the piano and caring for her flock of pedigree sheep.
